About The Position
Perkins Coie LLP is a leading international law firm seeking a midlevel associate to join its expanding Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group in the Seattle office. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions) as well as the funds that invest in them. Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial office environment while working closely with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters in the venture capital industry.
Requirements
- At least two years of ECVC experience, preferably at a comparable law firm
- Stellar academic credentials and references
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Quantitative and Excel skills
Responsibilities
- Representing innovative companies throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions)
- Representing funds that invest in innovative companies
- Managing internal and external client and counsel relationships
