About The Position

Centurion Forensic Health Services (FHS) is currently seeking a full-time Specialty Court Clinician (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC) to serve the Trial Courts Recovery & Emerging Adults (18-25 years of age) programs at Lowell District Court in Lowell, MA. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Current and active license in the state of Massachusetts: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC (other credentials may be considered)
Demonstrate exceptional communication and writing skills
Have experience working with individuals with mental health and co-occurring disorders
Be able to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team
Possess a valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation
Pass a background check

Nice To Haves

Multilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Spanish, Portuguese and Russian are a plus.
Willingness to travel within the State as needed.

Responsibilities

Clinical screening of all Recovery and Emerging Adult Court referrals using evidence-based assessment tools
Motivational interviewing and client centered treatment planning
Outreach and referrals to treatment programs
Case management and regular contact with participants using evidence-based approaches to support recovery and reduce recidivism in partnership with probation (who supervise court-ordered conditions) and other criminal justice personnel
Work collaboratively with community providers to obtain weekly reports of participant’s status
Organization and tracking of participant’s progress throughout the program
Provide weekly testimony to the court on participants’ status
Data collection and maintenance of court files
