About The Position

The Charleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) is hiring full-time Veterinary Assistants to join its Emergency team. CVRC, located in Charleston, SC, is a VECCS Level 1 certified facility with an emergency center staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The center offers specialty services including cardiology, internal medicine, neurology & neurosurgery, medical oncology (with radiation oncology coming soon!), rehabilitation, and soft tissue & orthopedic surgery. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging tools such as MRT, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiographs. CVRC aims to create an inclusive environment where the team collaborates and supports one another, offering opportunities to utilize technical skills in advanced ways. The ideal candidate is an experienced veterinary assistant who thrives in an ever-changing environment, possesses strong communication skills, is committed to quality patient care and 5-star client service, and can react quickly during life-threatening circumstances. Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year working in veterinary medicine, either in general practice or Emergency/Specialty Care, preferred
• An understanding of basic veterinary knowledge and veterinary restraint experience
• Attention to detail
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role
