About The Position

DVM Focus is representing an Emergency Veterinarian opportunity in the broader Western Virginia region for a doctor interested in continuing—or developing—their career in emergency medicine. This is an opportunity for a veterinarian interested in emergency and urgent veterinary medicine within a collaborative clinical environment. The right veterinarian will value thoughtful medicine, communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt as cases and priorities change throughout a shift. Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Current veterinary license in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Interest in emergency and urgent veterinary medicine.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients during challenging situations.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to medicine.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care.
