About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This role is part of BluePearl’s Greater Philadelphia Network, which includes multiple specialty and emergency hospitals dedicated to high-quality, compassionate patient care in a collaborative environment. The hospital serves pets and their families throughout the greater Philadelphia, South Jersey, Delaware, and surrounding communities. The position offers the opportunity to excel in a dynamic environment, delivering expert care to critically ill or injured pets, utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic tools, and performing life-saving procedures. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team of specialists, engaging with pet owners compassionately, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree required.
• General Practice (GP) or Humane Animal Medicine practice experience.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a rotating internship in emergency (ER) medicine and critical care (ECC) preferred but not required.
