About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Buffalo, NY is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in providing the highest standard of excellent emergency care to the small animal pets of Western New York. Those without ER experience (including new graduates) are encouraged to apply through our EmERge program. BluePearl Buffalo is a well-established 24-hour emergency and urgent care provider for pets in need in the Western New York region. Our modern facility features two surgical suites, digital radiography, and ultrasonography. and we are paper light with Instinct Electronic Medical Records. All our imaging studies are read by Board Certified Radiologists. Our hospital is located near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, 10 minutes from Downtown Buffalo and 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. Requirements

  • DVM/VMD degree required.
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
  • Those without ER experience (including new graduates) are encouraged to apply through our EmERge program.
