About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing Emergency team! We are an integral part of our multi-specialty and emergency hospitals and work closely with all the specialists in our hospitals. We understand the importance of prompt and skillful veterinary care in emergency situations, and our team of dedicated professionals is committed to delivering compassionate care to our patients. Our BluePearl Northfield hospital is a 24 hour emergency and specialty center serving the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago. With an ER veterinarian always on site, the team is supported by a modern, state of the art facility designed to deliver advanced and efficient care around the clock. You will have access to a full range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including CT, ultrasound, and digital radiography, along with 24 hour surgical support. The hospital offers a strong mix of specialties, including cardiology, emergency and critical care, surgery, internal medicine, and oncology, creating a highly collaborative environment where cases are shared and expertise is readily accessible. As one of two BluePearl hospitals in the Chicago metro area, Northfield is known for its supportive team culture, open communication, and commitment to providing comprehensive, compassionate care. Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree.
• Holding a valid state veterinary license.
• Self-directed, committed ongoing learner.
• Must be driven to continuously improve and stay up to date with industry developments and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality.
• Your decision-making skills are top-notch.
• Possess outstanding analytical capacity, attention to detail, and follow through.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and skillfully prioritize in a high volume environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Google Apps for Work.
• Experience with Cornerstone Practice Management software.
