The hospital is a referral center, primary care and teaching hospital with 24-hour emergency services. It is the largest specialty hospital in the area with 42,000 sq ft, 19 exam rooms, 9 surgery suites, 2 medical procedure rooms, MRI, CT, oncology suite, radiation oncology suite and dedicated anesthesia technical department. Specialties include Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Cardiology, Dentistry, Oncology and Anesthesia. The hospital aims for Fear Free Certified associates when possible and is AAHA accredited. The patient mix includes dogs and cats.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain.
