About The Position

Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) is recruiting a per diem Emergency Veterinarian for rotating day, mid, and/or overnight shifts at its fast-paced specialty hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. EPVMC is a 24/7 emergency and specialty center with a collaborative team and specialties in Anesthesia, Critical Care, Dentistry, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Surgery, in addition to emergency care. The hospital is VECCS Level III certified and provides advanced diagnostics and onsite laboratory services, supported by an experienced specialty team. The Emergency Veterinarian provides emergency care for a wide range of medical and surgical cases, triages and stabilizes critical patients, collaborates with specialists, communicates compassionately with clients, and contributes to a team-focused emergency department culture. Applicants must have a DVM in good standing and a Pennsylvania veterinary license, and demonstrate an empathetic, client-focused approach, commitment to high-quality medicine, and enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration. Employment requires successful completion of references and a background check.
