About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Locum Emergency Veterinarian to join our dynamic team at VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center. As a Relief Emergency Veterinarian, you will provide exceptional care to our patients during emergency situations. Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to pets in urgent situations.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's condition and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
