LEHR is seeking a detail-oriented candidate with a strong work ethic to join our Kentucky team as an Emergency Vehicle Upfit Installer.
Requirements
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience with 12V electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams
- Entry-level candidates with hands-on experience are encouraged to apply. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
- Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
- Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
- Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
- Organize tools and inventory
