About The Position

NORA, the Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance, is seeking dedicated part-time Emergency Vehicle Drivers for SUVs and tissue donor transport vans. NORA specializes in fulfilling a seamless “One Call Solution” for Air and Ground Organ Recovery Transportation, ensuring optimal efficiency, reliability and professionalism throughout the process. We offer 24-hour shifts (typically 2-3 per week), on-call pay, and weekend and holiday hours. Requirements

Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience driving a police, fire, or ambulance vehicle with emergency red lights and sirens (yellow lights do not qualify).
Current or past police officers, firefighters, or career EMS workers
24-hour on-call shifts.
Minimum age of 25.
Must live within 30-35 minutes of Greenville.
Clear criminal background check, subject to ongoing review
Clear state driving record verified through DMV, regularly reviewed.
Successful completion of initial and random drug testing.
Attention to the highest quality, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Transportation Specialists will transport medical teams, organs, tissues, tissue donors, and supplies using NORA vehicles for both emergency and non-emergency organ procurement transportation.
