About The Position
This posting is a continuous recruitment to create an applicant pool for the Paramedic/Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Instructor team. Openings may or may not exist at this time. This position may teach on the Mitchell County Campus (Spruce Pine, NC), Avery Learning Center Campus (Newland, NC), Yancey Learning Center Campus (Burnsville, NC), or other locations supported by the College. The class(es) may be scheduled during regular operating hours, at night, or on weekends.
Requirements
- Qualifications will vary depending on specific course needs. Please list degree, certification, and/or experience for the area you are interested in providing instruction.
- Must be willing to obtain all transcripts and certificates after hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality instruction in continuing education EMS courses.
- Prepare students to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate emergency medical care.
