Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification OR Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
- BLS-AHA required

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, basic patient care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Provide care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment, and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment.
- Monitor central station monitors, interpret cardiac rhythms, document rhythm strips every shift and more frequently when needed and notify the Registered Nurse of any rhythm changes.
- Perform all blood specimen collection for Emergency Room patients by venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick according to policy.
