About The Position
Performs duties to support the Emergency Department and patient care functions. Under the general direction of guidance of the ED Registered Nurse, the Emergency Room Technician (ERT) functions as an integral part of the patient care team. Performs to the level of the scope of practice for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) held by the ERT.
Requirements
- Hold and maintain in good standing an Idaho Emergency Medical Technician license or certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant by the State of Idaho
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
