About The Position
The Nurse Staff RN renders professional nursing services in the treatment and care of assigned patients. You will provide for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing condition, providing treatments, and documenting progress and other observations.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing
- Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient’s condition.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Formulate individualized plan of care.
- Revise individualized plan of care as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment; evaluate overall plan for effectiveness daily.
- Assess pain management techniques and educate the patient and family regarding pain management.
- Identify and address psychosocial needs of patient and family.
- Administer drugs, blood, and solutions according to medical and surgical policies and protocols.
- Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
