About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The role requires night shift availability and a commitment to ongoing education and competency development. The nurse is expected to maintain certifications relevant to their practice and demonstrate ongoing professional development. Additional courses may be required based on department needs.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification at time of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within one year of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification at time of hire.
• Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia, IV sedation, and other emergency procedures.
• Availability for night shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to emergency department patients according to established protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to patient needs.
• Participate in patient and staff education initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using EPIC.
• Maintain certifications relevant to the area of practice and demonstrate ongoing professional development.
• Complete additional courses as required based on department needs.
