Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required at the time of hire.
Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during orientation is required.
For the Emergency Department, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required at the time of hire.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is required within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Acute care facility experience is preferred.
Completion of a Critical Care Course within one year of hire is required for critical care units.
Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within six months of hire is required for applicable departments. Other department-specific certifications and competencies listed in the posting apply to those departments, not specifically to this Emergency Room role.
