About The Position

Contract position for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA. The contract is for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 72 hours bi-weekly, not including on-call time. The facility requires a coversheet at the time of submission. The shift is 12-hour E, 11 am to 11 pm. A Massachusetts RN license (or temp license) is mandatory at the time of submission. Two years of ER experience is required. Required certifications include MA RN, AHA BCLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS. The facility is not accepting local candidates and prohibits candidates who have worked perm/travel/per diem for any Beth Israel facility within the last six months.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
• Respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care activities.
