About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Globe, Arizona. This role is ideal for a highly skilled ER nurse who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is comfortable handling critical and emergency situations independently. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Must be comfortable taking on-call assignments
- Flu vaccination required
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
- Maximum of 3 requested time-off days permitted during the contract
Nice To Haves
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions
- Perform patient assessments, triage, and continuous monitoring
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as required
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EMR system
- Participate in required on-call coverage, including extended call shifts when needed
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and rapidly changing patient conditions
