About The Position

Prairie Band Health Service is seeking an Emergency Room Physician to provide exceptional healthcare services at Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) in Phoenix, AZ. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, great compensation, and the chance to make a meaningful impact. Indian Preference is Exercised for this TIER 2 position, with preference given to individuals as required by Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

Requirements

Completed an Emergency Medicine residency
Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Arizona or one of the other 49 states in the USA, or the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
Current certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Current certification in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians by either the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)

Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients

Responsibilities

Provide professional emergency medical services and direct patient care in the ER
Evaluate adult and adolescent patients presenting to the emergency department
Make preliminary diagnoses, prescribe treatments, and arrange for referrals or specialized care
Deliver care to patients with a broad range of medical conditions, often critical or complex
