About The Position

The Emergency Response Officer serves as the first line responder until higher-level personnel such as EMT or paramedics arrive on scene. This role involves Trauma Management, including controlling life-threatening bleeding, dressing wounds, stabilizing bones, burns, and any other medical need. It also includes performing Immediate Lifesaving Care such as CPR, using AEDs, and managing critical airways. Additional duties are the same as a basic guard, including checking in trucks, contractors, and visitors, performing patrol rounds and tours, monitoring gates, cameras, and phones, transferring calls, and monitoring fire alarm systems.

Requirements

Must be a licensed CNA, EMT or ERO.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must pass a lifetime background and drug test.
Must have a valid Driver’s license.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must have excellent communication skills and be professional.
Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
