The Underground Mine Rescue Chief plays a critical leadership role in establishing and managing a comprehensive mine rescue program at Jerritt Canyon. This position is responsible for building the program from the ground up to support underground operations, ensuring full compliance with MSHA 30 CFR requirements and industry best practices. Working closely with site leadership and external partners, this role leads emergency preparedness, team readiness, and response capabilities, ensuring the site is equipped to effectively manage emergency situations and protect the safety of all personnel.
