About The Position

Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking Radiologists for full-time or part-time positions to join the expanding Division of Emergency and Trauma Imaging (ETI). The division provides emergent imaging interpretations at 6 Emory Healthcare hospitals and Grady Memorial Hospital, the state’s largest Level 1 trauma center. The division operates 24/7/365, and faculty staff a mix of remote and onsite shifts. Schedules are composed to optimize work-life balance, with options for fixed or flexible templates, including day, afternoon, evening, swing, and overnight shifts (overnight work is optional). Fully remote options are available from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska. Candidates can choose a clinically focused role or an academically focused role with 20% academic time, involving scholarship, teaching, trainee supervision, and service. The department supports leadership and faculty development opportunities.

Requirements

ABR board-certified/eligible.
Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
Demonstrated career interest in Emergency Imaging.
Strong clinical skills.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced time-sensitive emergency setting.
Ability to work collaboratively with trainees and other faculty.
Residency in the state of GA.

Nice To Haves

Subspecialty training or emergency imaging experience are desired.
