Reporting to the Program Director, the Manager is responsible for the daily multidisciplinary operations and strategic practice management of the Emergency Medicine Division and Prehospital Medicine environment at Baystate Health. The Manager functions as a critical liaison between clinical leadership and administrative infrastructure, serving as an administrative partner to the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations (VCCO), EM Program Director, and Chief of the Division of Prehospital & Disaster Medicine. This role balances direct oversight of EMS and prehospital initiatives with division-wide administrative leadership—including personnel onboarding, workforce analytics, network-wide staffing projections, and clinical hours management. The Manager ensures operational excellence across the emergency services service line by designing systems that optimize financial performance, credentialing efficiency, and employee engagement. Working closely with the Chief of the Division of Prehospital & Disaster Medicine, the Emergency Services Service Line leadership team, and other operational partners, the Manager designs, implements, and manages systems and processes that optimize patient care delivery, operational efficiency, financial performance, and employee engagement.
