About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The role involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. Physicians receive comprehensive training and a wound fellowship. W2 physicians can expect to earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
- Travel within a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location.
