About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System (WVU Health System) is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician for Braxton Country Hospital. The WVU Health System is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals and serving a multi-state region. Braxton Country Hospital is a critical access hospital located in the geographical center of West Virginia, offering a rural and serene living environment with access to outdoor activities. Requirements
- MD or DO degree (foreign educational equivalent accepted).
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
- Completed an accredited emergency medicine residency program (or alternate boards like FM, IM with significant ED experience).
Responsibilities
- Serve as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Braxton Country Hospital.
- Provide critical access hospital care.
