About The Position

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The role involves physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, providing expertise for clinical excellence. Physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The practice is mobile, with physicians visiting facilities in a 40-60 mile radius, seeing 2-3 facilities and 20-30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship.
