About The Position

The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management through specialized training and a wound fellowship, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and wound care modalities. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day to treat approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Become an expert in wound management.
Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.
