About The Position

The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a unique opportunity in Sleepy Eye, MN. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and excellent work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, receiving training from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. They will utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, equipping you with the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation at the point of care during clinical rounds.
Become an expert in wound management through provided training and fellowship.
