About The Position
Carle Health is seeking additional Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians to join their Emergency department at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, offering 24/7 coverage from the Hospitalist team. The position is within a fully integrated system using EPIC EMR for improved care coordination. Carle Health Methodist Hospital is a 349-bed Level II Trauma Center with over 36,000 Emergency Department visits annually. The role is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
- Physician licensed in Illinois.
- DEA license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care in a Level II Trauma Center.
- Collaborate with the Hospitalist team for 24/7 coverage.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for care coordination.
