About The Position

Mt. Carmel Hospital is a small, recently renovated critical access center serving a growing community surrounded by mountains and lakes. ERx is recruiting for a full-time and part-time physician for this role. The daily patient volume typically ranges from 30-40. Physicians will have the option of 12 or 10-hour shifts, with double coverage available on the Day Shift. The EMR system used is EPIC. This position offers flexible scheduling and is structured as an Independent Contractor (1099) role, providing added tax benefits and the ability to moonlight. Colville is located 45 minutes from Northern Spokane and offers a great quality of life with a lively downtown, less traffic, a lower cost of living, and no State Income Tax. It is a four-season area with abundant outdoor activities, including winter sports, and offers a small-town feel with big-city amenities.

Requirements

• Emergency Medicine (EM) experience required.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Emergency Medicine (EM).
• Valid Washington State License.
• Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a critical access hospital setting.
• Manage daily patient volumes of 30-40.
• Work 12 or 10-hour shifts, with double coverage available on Day Shift.
