Emergency Medicine Physician - North Kingstown, RI
About The Position
The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound care, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The practice involves bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, with comprehensive training and a wound fellowship provided. Physicians are W2 employees and can expect to earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The role involves conducting weekly wound rounds at post-acute care facilities (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals) within a 40-60 mile radius, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship. No work visa sponsorship is available.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
