About The Position
A thriving healthcare system is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to work 11 shifts per month in the Columbus, NE area. This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM. The hospital is a 24-hour level III trauma center with an annual volume of over 13,000 visits. The role involves joining a team of 7 full-time Emergency Medicine physicians and several Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The facility utilizes the Paragon EMR system. The group has been serving the medically underserved in Northern NE since 2002 and has experienced growth in patient numbers since 2018. They offer a newly remodeled lab, an on-site contract pharmacy, and a building with 5 medical office specialists, a patient waiting area, and clinical space. Patient support services include transportation, outreach, and enrollment assistance for healthcare marketplace, Medicaid, Medicare, and telehealth.
Requirements
- BE/BC - Emergency Medicine Physician
- Must be able to work 11 shifts per month.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts (8:30 AM-9:30 PM).
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care as an Emergency Medicine Physician.
- Work 11 shifts per month.
- Work 12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
- Collaborate with a team of 7 FT EM physicians and several APPs.
- Utilize the Paragon EMR system.
