About The Position

The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management in Brownwood, TX. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The role involves providing bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, delivering modern wound management. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training and a wound fellowship are provided.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
