About The Position
We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Norwich, Connecticut. This role involves providing emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department, performing standard emergency procedures, and collaborating with a support team. The physician will be responsible for managing the single coverage period from 2a to 7a during overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
- Hospital Privileges Required
- Perform standard emergency department procedures (e.g., intubation, central line placement, laceration repair)
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
- Perform standard emergency department procedures.
- Collaborate with APP and physician coverage team to ensure patient care.
- Manage single coverage period from 2a to 7a during overnight shifts.
- Maintain ABEM certification and adhere to clinical protocols.
