About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, trained by highly qualified physicians and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The role involves providing bedside wound care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals, conducting weekly wound rounds, and documenting at the point of care using a proprietary EMR. Paid training and a wound fellowship are provided during onboarding.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
