About The Position
Join Wake Forest Emergency Providers as an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) in Monroe, North Carolina—part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country. Wake Forest Emergency Providers, affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest School of Medicine, delivers high-quality emergency care across Hospital Emergency Departments and Free-Standing Emergency Departments throughout the Greater Charlotte Market and Central and Northwest North Carolina. Our APPs practice in settings that offer a strong sense of community and teamwork, while benefiting from the clinical resources, academic collaboration, and innovation of a leading nonprofit health system. Atrium Health has 24-hour emergency services throughout the Charlotte region and parts of South Carolina. In addition to emergency departments that treat all ages, we have three pediatric emergency locations and the only free-standing psychiatric unit in the Charlotte region. Children’s emergency care While emergency departments treat all ages, we also have Atrium Health Levine Children’s pediatric emergency rooms in Charlotte, NC, Huntersville, NC, and Monroe, NC. Our pediatric emergency rooms are designed around kids. With kid-friendly waiting areas, child-sized. Nationally recognized specialty care and the Charlotte region’s only Best Children’s Hospital, awarded by U.S. News & World Report. Atrium Union ED in Union County NC- our APP team covers shifts at Atrium Union, Union West, Waxhaw and Providence EDs. Our APP’s rotate through all shift times and all locations listed above. Collaborative work with our ED physicians seeing patients of all acuity levels.
Requirements
- Must have NC PA/NP license (NPs must be ENP boarded or eligible), BLS, ACLS before starting.

Responsibilities
- Collaborative work with our ED physicians seeing patients of all acuity levels.
- Covers shifts at Atrium Union, Union West, Waxhaw and Providence EDs.
- Rotates through all shift times and all locations listed above.
