About The Position

Provides on-site emergency medical assistance as required, within EMT scope of practice and performs duties of a Public Safety Officer. Maintains EMT equipment to ensure a constant state of EMT response readiness. Responds to requests for medical assistance. Performs thorough patient assessments in accordance with EMT protocols. Administers appropriate treatment within EMT Scope of Practice. Initiates requests for Advanced Life Support as needed. Interacts with ALS personnel and provides seamless interface at transfer of patient care. Provides comprehensive documentation of incident contact on PCR and computer data entry. Maintains personal skill level through participation with in-service training programs. Maintains a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor in interaction with guests and fellow Team Members. Serves as a technician by collecting/processing urine samples for drug testing in accordance with policy/procedures. Performs public safety officer duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, visitor escorts to Tribal Gaming Agency and handling lost and found items. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Current California State Emergency Medical Technician certification.
Current CPR Certification.
Required to pass EMT Skills Evaluation Patient Assessment.
Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail, and internet.
Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
Native American hiring preference applies.
