Evergreen Ambulance, a new part of Ride Connection’s 30+ years of community focused transportation services, is looking for compassionate, skilled part time EMTs to join their growing team. This position is ideal for new EMTs looking to get started, EMTs needing some extra hours or a lower stress work environment, and EMTs looking for a part time position while continuing their education. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to meet the physical and functional demands of the role
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification
  • Oregon EMT license (OHA)
  • Valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Basic Life Support (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Ability to pass a National Criminal Record Check which includes fingerprint identification. If a record exists, the nature and severity of charges will be discussed with candidates and, in some cases, may not be a barrier to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care and safe medical transport within the full scope of your certification and license.
  • Deliver patient care in out-of-hospital settings.
  • Safely transport patients between facilities or from emergency scenes.
  • Document care using electronic patient care records.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, partners, and medical staff.
  • Maintain, clean, and restock vehicles and equipment.
  • Operate ambulances safely and in compliance with all laws and company policies.
  • Report safety concerns and support a culture of safety and professionalism.
  • Assist with base cleaning and maintenance as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support service excellence.
