About The Position
As an EMT, you will play a vital role in providing both emergency and non-emergency medical transport services throughout the region. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced daytime environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care with integrity and professionalism. Day shift team members are essential in supporting hospital discharges, scheduled transports, interfacility transfers, and emergency responses during peak daytime operational hours.
Requirements
- Current State EMT Certification (or reciprocity eligible)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to reliability and punctuality for scheduled day shifts
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with state and company protocols
- Safely operate and maintain assigned ambulance and equipment
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and accurate documentation
- Ensure the ambulance unit is clean, stocked, and deployment-ready at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and team members
- Uphold safety standards and compliance regulations
