Requirements

Able to obtain certifications in SCBA, SKA, APR respiratory protection, HAZMAT response, and confined space/high‑angle rescue.
Have a current EMT certification.

Responsibilities

Responds immediately to emergencies, including medical incidents, hazardous material events, and other safety‑related situations.
Leads emergency response operations as ERT Captain, directing teams during medical, chemical, gas, HAZMAT, and rescue events.
Ensures strict compliance with safety protocols such as PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout (CoHE), and chemical handling procedures.
Conducts routine safety audits, inspections, and hazard‑prevention checks to support a safer and more efficient workplace.
Completes and reviews Job Hazard Analyses (JHA/JSA) and communicates shift updates to keep cross‑functional teams aligned.
Supports safety projects and cost‑reduction initiatives through data analysis and preventive maintenance activities.
Utilizes Microsoft Office applications to complete documentation, reporting, and communication tasks efficiently.
