About The Position

AMR is hiring part-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance. EMTs provide high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. The position requires a minimum of 36 hours per quarter.

EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. They document patient information, condition, and treatment while protecting confidentiality and patient rights, and maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment. EMTs also operate ambulances in accordance with company safety policies and applicable traffic laws, and work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.

The role includes participating in community programs to support AMR’s image and build strong community relations. AMR is part of Global Medical Response (GMR), whose teams provide compassionate, quality medical care primarily in emergency and patient relocation services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT license.
• State driver’s license.
• BLS certification.
• NREMT.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
