About The Position

Emergency Medical Technicians provide event-based medical coverage, helping ensure the safety and well-being of participants. EMTs are present as a precaution and provide immediate first aid when needed. Assignments take place in a variety of event settings, and EMTs can select shifts that fit their schedules. The role pays $24 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt first-aid treatment to people reporting injuries or illnesses.
• Be prepared to provide basic life support, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
• Evaluate patients’ conditions and determine whether escalation to emergency care is needed.
• Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
• Work at a variety of events and adapt to each setting.
