About The Position
Penn State Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is seeking multiple, part-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) at the University Park Campus beginning in the Fall '26 semester. This position will provide emergency care on 911 ambulance calls and at special event venues as needed. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL HOME FOOTBALL GAMES.
Requirements
- Current certifications for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an EMT.
- Current certification as an emergency vehicle operator.
- Currently certified in CPR.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check.
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form.
- Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care on 911 ambulance calls.
- Provide emergency care at special event venues as needed.
- Operate a motor vehicle as part of job duties.
