Requirements

  • Valid state paramedic certification and licensure
  • Proven experience in emergency medical services or related field
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other medical personnel, victims, and family
  • Read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively with employees and managers
  • Write simple correspondence or reports
  • Knowledge of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies
  • State driver’s license
  • State Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification (LP/EMT-P/NREMT-P)
  • AHA Basic Life Support Certification
  • AHA Advanced Life Support Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Certified as a CPR Instructor in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association (must obtain within one year of employment)
  • Certified as a First Aid Instructor by the American Heart Association or the National Safety Council (must obtain within one year of employment)

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide advanced pre-hospital medical care
  • Assess patient conditions and deliver appropriate treatment in accordance with protocols
  • Collaborate effectively with other emergency services and hospital staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment provided
  • Ensure all equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and ready for emergency response
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
