Requirements

Valid state paramedic certification and licensure
Proven experience in emergency medical services or related field
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other medical personnel, victims, and family
Read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively with employees and managers
Write simple correspondence or reports
Knowledge of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies
State driver’s license
State Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification (LP/EMT-P/NREMT-P)
AHA Basic Life Support Certification
AHA Advanced Life Support Certification

Nice To Haves

Certified as a CPR Instructor in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association (must obtain within one year of employment)
Certified as a First Aid Instructor by the American Heart Association or the National Safety Council (must obtain within one year of employment)

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide advanced pre-hospital medical care
Assess patient conditions and deliver appropriate treatment in accordance with protocols
Collaborate effectively with other emergency services and hospital staff
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment provided
Ensure all equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and ready for emergency response
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
