About The Position
CALRegional is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Emergency Medical Technician Lead Instructor to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to earn extra income while making a significant impact on aspiring healthcare professionals. No prior teaching experience is required. The position involves aiding students in all aspects of the Emergency Medical Technician scope of practice, assisting with their performance and progress, and helping them develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession. The instructor will also serve as a professional role model for students.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an EMT, paramedic, or RN
- Must hold a current certificate/license to practice as a Paramedic or EMT in the state of California.
- A thorough understanding of EMS training equipment.
- Comfortable with computers and technology.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of experience training and/or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Aid students in all aspects of the Emergency Medical Technician scope of practice.
- Aid with student performance and progress.
- Assisting students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
