About The Position

This position involves providing emergency medical care to patients. Responsibilities include examining and evaluating patients, administering emergency care using appropriate techniques and equipment, providing basic life support, gathering patient data, documenting patient information, maintaining patient confidentiality, transporting patients, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The role also includes operating and driving an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and laws. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Certified Emergency Medical Technician - State of Pennsylvania
• Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator
• Valid Driver's License
• Communication Skills
• Preceptor Skills
• Teamwork Skills

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.
• Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Provide basic life support and gather patient data.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights.
• Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate and drive ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.
