About The Position
This role is for an EMT or Paramedic seeking flexible and engaging opportunities to supplement their income. As a dedicated event first aid responder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of participants at various events. While most events proceed without incidents, the presence of Paramedics provides peace of mind and immediate first aid if needed.
Requirements
- EMT or Paramedic certification
Responsibilities
- Offer first-aid treatment to patients reporting injuries or illnesses, ensuring prompt and effective care.
- Be prepared to administer basic life support measures, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
- Evaluate patients' conditions to determine if they require escalation to emergency care and make informed decisions for their well-being.
- Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
