About The Position

Hunter’s Ambulance Service, owned and operated by Hartford HealthCare Emergency Medical Services, is a licensed commercial ambulance company with six locations across central and southern Connecticut. We provide both emergency and non-emergency medical care to facilities and communities throughout the state. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current State of Connecticut EMT Certification in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association CPR or the ability to obtain and maintain an American Heart Association CPR Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid Driver’s License and an excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Responds to instructions from emergency medical dispatchers and performs assignments in a timely manner.
• Operates emergency vehicles in accordance with regulations and company policy.
• Assures proper stocking, re-stocking and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment.
• Provides accurate and timely written and typed communication on patient disposition.
• Provides patient assessment, treatment and transport within applicable regulations.
